Therapies

Our holistic approach to therapy at Royal Life Centers at the Haven is goal-oriented and focused on solving present problems. Our therapist’s structure group and individual sessions using different types of therapies. One example, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a problem-solving form of therapy focused on identifying and addressing dysfunctional thinking.

We don’t believe in pre-determined, pre-scheduled treatment tracks. For this reason, each guest is assigned a primary therapist upon arrival at our facility. During their time at Royal Life Centers, guests work closely with their therapist to create an Individual Service Plan (ISP). ISPs cater to guests’ needs, goals, and objectives to identify areas in their lives where change is needed or wanted. We believe the relationship between guest and therapist to be one of the most vital in the recovery process. Therapy teaches and improves upon life skills in ways that resonate far beyond inpatient treatment.

Our hope is that our customized treatment plans will allow guests to make self-discoveries and gain the skills needed to maintain sobriety. We work to effect lasting changes in the lives of our guests through a combination of individual and group therapy, recreational opportunities, relapse prevention, education on gender-specific issues, trauma resolution, grief and loss, anger management, depression, and 12 step meetings.

"Our hope is that our customized treatment plans will allow guests to make self-discoveries and gain the skills needed to maintain sobriety. BECAUSE WE CARE."

Throughout detox and residential treatment, our guests meet regularly with their primary therapists on a one-on-one basis and participate in group therapy daily. At Royal Life Centers, our therapy programs were developed, and are continually updated, with our guests in mind.
