Frequently asked questions about… REHAB AT THE HAVEN

Royal Life Centers provides world-class holistic addiction treatment. We are a dual-accredited, full-service drug and alcohol detox and treatment facility network committed to treating substance use disorders in the safest, most effective way possible— from detox to outpatient. We always put the guest first, hire only the most qualified staff, and maintain top-notch facilities.

We are committed to providing a respectful and supportive environment to aid in the healing process. This respect extends beyond quality medical care and into the very language we use to address those in our treatment programs. The term “guest” is just one of the ways we seek to make each person feel welcome and wanted as they work through the early stages of recovery.

Our programming at The Haven includes detox and residential treatment services.

Located right next door is our aftercare and outpatient facility, Sound Recovery, which transitions you through our 12-week program consisting of PHP and IOP. If you wish to extend your time in treatment, we also provide outpatient services and sober living options as well.

With addiction treatment facility locations spanning the Pacific Northwest and Arizona’s Prescott Valley, Royal Life Centers is proud to provide a full continuum of care for drug and alcohol use disorders.

Our addiction treatment programs start with medical detox where drug and alcohol toxins are removed from the body. Following detox, residential inpatient treatment continues the therapeutic practices started in detox. After completing residential inpatient, you can work through levels of care that include partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Once completed, you may continue treatment in our outpatient program (OP). Guests can also choose to live in our sober living residences during aftercare and outpatient treatment.

Yes, we are a dual-accredited, full-service drug and alcohol detox and treatment facility network committed to treating substance use disorders in the safest, most effective way possible. We always put the guest first, hire only the most qualified staff, and maintain top-notch facilities.

The length of our inpatient treatment programs depends on the needs of each individual. In general, our inpatient program includes detox and residential treatment, lasting 18 or more days.

4-Day Observational Detox Program

We provide a 4-day observational detoxification for those who do not require a medical taper. During detox, guests receive comfort medications under 24/7 medical supervision.

8-Day Medical Detox Program

Our medical detox program lasts 8 days and provides medical tapers for drug and alcohol withdrawal to manage side effects. Throughout the entirety of your time in medical detox, our medical staff is available to monitor your progress and manage any side effects of withdrawal.

2-Week Residential Inpatient Program

Our residential inpatient program starts at 14 days and may be extended to 28 days.  During this program, guests receive individual and group counseling, nutritional and fitness guidance, recovery education workshops, and 12-step recovery programming.

After inpatient treatment, we offer a 12-week aftercare program that includes 4 weeks of partial hospitalization (PHP) and 8 weeks of intensive outpatient (IOP). During PHP and IOP, guests participate in intensive therapies that focus on relapse prevention and building sustainable, healthy lifestyles.

Guests can also learn life skills during groups that focus on nutrition education, yoga techniques, mindfulness meditation, and stress management. Our programs also offer access to other creative arts activities and psychoeducation courses designed to provide the knowledge and tools needed to continue living a happier and healthier life.

Following aftercare, we provide customizable outpatient treatment services that begin at one month and can be altered to fit each person’s ideal time frame. For this reason, guests can choose to be in outpatient for an undetermined amount of time, ranging from a couple of months up to one year.

We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services during our detox and residential treatment programs. Our case managers can connect those who wish to continue these services after inpatient treatment with MAT resources within the community. Those in our aftercare programs can also utilize our transportation services to receive off-site MAT services.

At Royal Life Centers, we operate on a biopsychosocial-spiritual model. This means we collectively treat the mind, body, and spirit. Essentially, holistic treatment is the idea that multiple modalities of treatment target each facet of an individual’s life.

Our holistic approach to addiction treatment includes traditional and alternative modalities such as:

  • One-on-one counseling
  • Group therapy
  • Life skills training
  • Creative arts activities
  • Yoga techniques
  • Mindfulness meditation exercises

Through these holistic treatment services, we are able to provide the most effective individualized treatments to help you recover from drug or alcohol addiction.

Recovery from addiction is a challenging but rewarding journey that can be difficult to navigate on your own.

After completing rehab for alcohol or drug addiction, you may feel overwhelmed and uncertain about what to expect next. However, with the right mindset and support system in place, you can successfully transition into addiction recovery by focusing on personal growth, self-care, and a commitment to sobriety.

It’s essential to keep in mind that everyone’s recovery journey is unique, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach to what to expect after rehab. However, by working closely with your treatment team, maintaining connections within the recovery community, staying engaged in aftercare support programs, and utilizing recovery resources in outpatient treatment, you can continue to build upon the progress you made in rehab and achieve lasting sobriety.

Remember, recovery is a lifelong journey. With persistence and dedication, you can overcome addiction, stay sober, and thrive in your new, fulfilling life in recovery.
