As a company led by caring people, the leadership of Royal Life Centers at the Haven ensures that our guests receive the best possible care. From medically-assisted detoxification and intensive therapies in inpatient treatment to integrative case management and life skills training in aftercare, our leadership provides a safe atmosphere for individuals to heal from substance abuse.

Vaun Williams, PsyD, LPC Chief Operating Officer

Vaun Williams, PsyD, LPC is the chief operating officer for our three treatment centers in Washington and Arizona. As chief operating officer, Vaun dedicates her time and expertise to the successful operations of our inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities. Her dedication to our facilities ensures that guests in Royal Life Centers’ medical detox, residential inpatient treatment, aftercare, and outpatient programs receive the best possible care.

In 2005, Vaun earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University. She then went on to earn her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Since 2016, Vaun has utilized her degree while teaching various psychology and counseling courses with Grand Canyon University as an Adjunct Faculty. In addition, Vaun continued her pursuit of knowledge at Capella University, receiving her doctoral degree in 2017.  

As a licensed professional counselor, Vaun has experience working in the behavioral health field for nearly 20 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, the homeless population, the domestic violence population, in private practice, and more recently, with the addiction population. 

Throughout her time working with various populations, Vaun Williams has also been in management for the past 15 years. Within her scope of treatment, Vaun has worked with various diagnoses ranging from anxiety, depression, addiction, mood-related disorders, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders. As a certified EMDR treatment practitioner, Vaun specializes in trauma therapy techniques that assist individuals in processing and healing from traumatic experiences. At the moment, she is in the process of becoming an approved consultant with EMDRIA. 


Lisa Tomsak, DO Medical Director

Lisa Tomsak is the Medical Director for the Royal Life Centers treatment network in Washington State and Arizona. Since 2016, Lisa has overseen the medical services at each of Royal Life Centers’ inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities. 

Dr. Lisa Tomsak embarked on her medical journey by graduating Summa Cum Laude from Wilkes Barre University. She then pursued her D.O. from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Today, she is a board-certified professional in both internal and addiction medicine.

Drawing on her extensive background in osteopathic medicine, Lisa offers our guests comprehensive medical care. Her expertise encompasses everything from conducting intake evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans to providing dual-diagnosis addiction treatment and medication-assisted treatment services.

As the medical director, Lisa is dedicated to providing safe and effective addiction treatment. She takes charge of developing personalized treatment plans for each guest, ensuring individualized care. Lisa also oversees the integration of evidence-based treatments within a holistic approach, promoting healing of the mind, body, and spirit. By prioritizing person-centered care, she and her team actively work towards preventing relapse and fostering sustainable recovery practices.

Lisa Tomsak is an invaluable member of the Royal Life Centers team who consistently exceeds expectations in upholding our medical services and standards. Under her leadership, we strive to establish a solid foundation for lasting recovery success, providing unwavering support and guidance throughout the entire treatment process.


Yolin Tapia Executive Director

Yolin Tapia is the executive director for our inpatient and outpatient facilities in Lacey, Washington. She is a highly accomplished and goal-driven team member with 7 years of extensive experience in management and tactical business leadership. With expertise spanning business administration, case management, and achieving exceptional results through competent planning, organization, and a solution-oriented approach, Yolin drives business growth and fosters strategic alliances within the community. As a diplomatic leader and analytical thinker, Yolin Tapia inspires and cultivates productive working relationships with team members and company partners.

Yolin, an invaluable member of the Royal Life Centers team, has played crucial roles within our organization. With previous experience as the director of operations for our detox and residential facility in Sumner, Washington, Yolin has demonstrated dedication and commitment. Prior to this, Yolin served as a compassionate case manager in Lacey, providing assessments and counseling to individuals in early recovery. With a wealth of experience in case management, Yolin seamlessly integrates into the daily operations of our facilities. Throughout her tenure, Yolin has collaborated effectively with a diverse range of professionals, including doctors, clinicians, CEOs, business development teams, administrative staff, and, of course, our cherished guests.

Yolin’s exceptional talent for supporting others through crucial life choices seamlessly aligns with her role as Executive Director. With her expertise in driving productivity, efficiency, and performance enhancements, Yolin Tapia consistently delivers outstanding results. Her unwavering commitment to Royal Life Centers, coupled with her invaluable ability to provide essential aid to guests in need, greatly contributes to the smooth functioning and ultimate success of our organization.


Jeff Grant, SUDP Clinical Director

Jeff Grant is our clinical director for Royal Life Centers’ aftercare and outpatient facility in Lacey, Washington.  Since early 2022, Jeff has continued to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to guests in our lower levels of care.

In 2017, Jeff Grant embarked on his journey in the behavioral health field, starting as an entry-level treatment attendant at Northwest Resources. Encouraged by his fellow clinical staff, he swiftly transitioned into a counseling role. Over the next four years, Jeff dedicated himself to counseling individuals at various levels of care, both in outpatient and residential treatment settings. Later, Jeff joined American Behavioral Health System, assuming the responsibility of a program manager in their Secure Withdrawal Management program. In this capacity, he provided oversight for the clinical, medical, and support teams, ensuring that client care remained the top priority.

With a strong foundation in Human Services, Jeff pursued his certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP). This credential enhanced his comprehension of substance abuse and enabled him to offer specialized care to individuals on their journey to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

As the head of the clinical program, Jeff Grant offers guidance to counselors and ensures a positive and enriching treatment experience for guests at Royal Life Center. His motivation to come to work stems from assisting guests in their transition to a new sober life, whether it be in the PHP and IOP during aftercare or OP programs. Jeff appreciates the opportunity to work directly with clients, empowering them to make life-altering decisions for their own well-being.
